We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the heart of Garden Weddings – our director, Bronte Jackson, has been invited to join the judging panel for The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) in their brand-new category: Temporary Structures! 🎪✨
This is a huge honour and a proud moment for our entire team – and an even bigger testament to Bronte’s deep expertise, dedication, and influence within the wedding and events industry.
A Trailblazer in the World of Temporary Structures
Bronte’s journey in the industry is nothing short of inspiring. She launched her first wedding venue, Skipbridge Country Weddings, at just 16 years old. Since then, she has continued to innovate, expand, and inspire – with Skipbridge going on to win TWIA’s national award.
Today, Bronte is the force behind Garden Weddings, Yorkshire’s go-to luxury tent provider, offering tipis, sailcloth tents, and stretch tents for unforgettable celebrations. From small, intimate garden gatherings to sprawling outdoor festivals, she has helped create one-of-a-kind spaces that marry elegance, creativity, and practicality.
Championing Industry Excellence
Bronte’s impact extends beyond her own businesses. She is also a proud member of the executive board at MUTA – the UK’s trade association for marquees, tents, and structures – where she plays an active role in shaping industry standards, encouraging innovation, and promoting safety and sustainability in temporary structure installations.

With her well-rounded experience in design, logistics, and event execution, Bronte is perfectly placed to judge TWIA’s newest category: Temporary Structures. She brings not only technical knowledge but a keen eye for creative transformation, attention to detail, and a real passion for helping couples bring their dream day to life in even the most unexpected spaces.
